Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi is reportedly on the radar of Italian football side Salernitana. According to Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Premier League heavyweights Chelsea are keen to send Batshuayi out on loan before the end of this summer’s transfer window with the obligation to make it a permanent transfer.
Italian football outfit Salernitana are yet to score in the Italian Serie A this season and they are keen to add a striker to their squad. Salernitana lost 1-0 at home to AS Roma in their Serie A opener before they played out a goalless draw with hosts Udinese in their second league game of the season. For their striker search, DavideNicola’side have turned attention to Batshuayi. The 28-year-old could move to Italian football for the first time in his career. He has just returned to Chelsea after a successful loan spell at Besiktas in the Turkish top flight. He scored 14 goals in 33 games for Besiktas in all competitions last season.
Batshuayi is open to the idea of leaving Chelsea on loan again with Salernitana keen on the Belgian striker. He has one year left on his current deal with the Blues but there’s an option to extend it by an extra year
