Juventus Manager still not Happy with Team

Juventus may be on their way to earn the domestic as well as continental glory, but, their manager reckons that the team is not doing its best in all the departments.

Italian Football is completely dependent on Juventus

For the latest 7 years, Italian Football has been sustaining a huge dip in quality and this is becoming very clear as Juventus has consecutively been winning the Italian League Serie A since 2011.

Inter Milan sporting director PieroAusiliosays that it is extremely important for the club to return to the Champions League as part of the larger plan to take the club forward.


Inter Milan won the Champions League back in 2010, and they are the last Italian club to do so.

However, they have fallen under bad times since then. INTER MILAN REIGNITES INTEREST IN STEVEN GERRARD

Serie A outfit Inter Milan are reigniting their interest in Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, according to reports.


The club, who recently sacked Coach Frank de Boer, reached out to Gerrard last month before firing De Boer. Inter want the MLS player to contribute his experience for the rest of the season after it was announced that Gerrard would not play in America beyond January.

There are quite a number of playing and coaching options for Gerrard but the player has remained mum about his future plans. League One club Milton Keynes Dons want Gerrard to be their new boss and the former Three Lions skipper without Italian football experience might not be keen on joining the Serie A strugglers as he looks for a rebound after an underwhelming time in America. Inter Milan place 9th in the Serie A, being 13 points behind log leaders Juventus. On the other hand, Gerrard might use the opportunity to play in a relatively top side before he retires office 2016 key from professional football.

Inter are looking at cutting their losses after summer signings all flopped. Midfielders, Euro 2016 champion Joao Mario cost £40 million while Ever Banega is well compensated though he joined for free. Mancini reveals why Balotelli left the Etihad

Former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has revealed a picture of what happened behind the scenes during his burst-up with Mario Balotelli that eventually led to the exit of the Italian.


“In a training session, I said to players not to make stupid tackles on Gael [Clichy] because he was just coming back from injury. And then, Mario made a strong tackle on him. I was furious. I grabbed him by the collar wanting to push him but he is so strong physically,” Mancini said to L’Equipe.

Mario Balotelli suffers poor public acceptance due to his off the field activities, particularly when he moved to England. His spat with Mancini eventually led to his exit from the City squad.

“He came to conflict with some teammates because of his behavior, and he wanted to return to Italy. I was disappointed that he wanted to leave because he should have done so much more in an extraordinary championship,” the former Etihad manager added. DE BOER: ITALIAN FOOTBALL PHILOSOPHY HAS CHANGED

Inter Milan boss Frank De Boer took time to share his views of Italian football with reporters of La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The former Dutch international used to turn down the coaching job of the Nerazzurris in the past, but accepted to lead them into the new campaign with Roberto Mancini sacked. De Boer has always preferred the English Premier League to the Serie A but decided to take the plunge this time.

He revealed that the club contacted him through his agent a few weeks before he accepted the job to lead Inter, claiming the “the Nerazzurri project seemed immediately interesting.” He shared his take on the development of Italian football.

“Inter represent tradition and Italy. If you think of Italian football, the three great teams come to mind: Inter, Milan and Juventus. And there have been some supreme Dutch players in Italy: Jonk and Bergkamp on one side, Van Basten, Rijkaard and Gullit on the other. The prestige of the Biscione had its influence in my choice. I want to be part of this great history.”

MARIO SET TO JOIN PLAY ITALIAN FOOTBALL IN FORTHCOMING SEASON

Portuguese No. 10 player at the recently concluded Euro 2016, Joao Mario is set o have a taste of Italian football as reports say he has snubbed the Blues to move to Italy.


EuroSport claims the player is set to sign the deal that will ensure he plays Italian football in the forthcoming season with Inter Milan. The Sun earlier reported that the player would snub Chelsea for a move to Italy. The reports say the 23-year old player, who displayed decent performance at the Euro 2016, will head to the Serie A to play for Inter.

Mario is believed to have agreed to a five year deal with the club as his club Sporting Lisbon agreed to Inter’s 29 million Pounds offer. The deal is expected to be finalised and the player unveiled anytime soon, after personal terms of 29,000 Pounds weekly wages was agreed. Chelsea would have to get another as they are reported to be in talks with the Premier League champions Leicester city over the possibility of signing Frenchman N’Golo Kante this summer.

FORMER AC MILAN GOAL KEEPER BLAST THE ATTITUDE OF THE PLAYERS

Retired AC Milan goal keeper, Christian Abbiati has blasted the poor attitude of some AC Milan players.


The player retired from active football at the ripe age of 38. The goal stopper started his career at Italian club Corsico before the move to Calcio Monza. He had a loan spree before eventually joining Milan.

Abbiati joined Milan from Monza in 1998, and ended his 18-year association with the club when he decided to retire at the conclusion of this season. Milan endured another inconsistent campaign, as Cristian Brocchi guided the club to a seventh place finish following the sacking of Sinisa Mihajlovic in April.

The Coppa Italia failed to save their season as they lost to Juventus 1-0 after extra-time in Saturday’s final, and Abbiati has subsequently been scathing of some of his colleagues for their conduct throughout the 2015/2016 season. CHINESE RETAIL GIANT INTERESTED IN ITALIAN FOOTBALL

Chinese retail giant, Suning, is reportedly interested in taking over Italian football outfit, FC Internazionale Milano.

In a statement released to the public, the company confirmed the report from Italian sources.

“Suning Investment Holding Group and Suning Sports are interested in a strategic cooperation with Internazionale Milano Football Club.


“The two parties are examining in depth the options to set up a broad partnership in the football environment and in the development of football in China, and they do not rule out the possibility of reciprocal investments.

“Once the contents of the cooperation have been established, it will be made official in China. We believe that international cooperation will provide a great boost for the promotion of the Suning team in Milan, while also boosting Inter, and Chinese football as a whole, which is very important for us.

Italian football shocked by defeat

Italian football has reached a new low with the 4-1 defeat against Germany on Tuesday. This was the first time in almost 21 years that Germany manages to beat Italy.

Germany, who was beaten by England in their last match, wanted to reassure their fans as well as themselves by producing an exceptional performance. Unfortunately, it was the Italians that were on the receiving end of a well-deserved victory from the World Champions.

The Italian side will have to conduct a thorough analysis of their performance in order to improve themselves. If they have any ambition to win the Euro 2016, they should not be playing the way they did against Germany. In fairness, this has been coming for quite some time now. This can be evidenced by the decline of Italian football in the European club competition with only Juventus managing to perform in the Champions League.

Toni Kroos opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a shot just from outside the box which gave no chance to Italian keeper, Gianluigi Buffon. Germany doubled the lead just before the stroke of half-time thanks to a Mario Gotze header. The opportunity came thanks to a cross from Thomas Muller.

After the break, Italy managed to improve their game and had some opportunities to reduce the deficit. However due to poor decision making, they could not have a clear chance on goal. To the contrary, it is Germany who extended the lead with a goal from Jonas Hector. Julian Draxler raided the Italian defence and passed the ball to Hector, who could not miss from inside the box.
